Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand-

The Pattaya Provincial Waterworks Authority, or PWA, announced this afternoon that they are, effective tomorrow, July 22nd, 2021, suspending all in-person transactions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

This is scheduled to last until at least August 2nd, although PWA officials noted if the situation has not improved it could be extended, and is not a guarantee they will be open as normal on August 3rd.

This follows similar decisions made at the Department of Land Transport. (DLT)

Mr. Chaithat Idsang, Manager of the Provincial Waterworks Authority, Pattaya Branch, stated that all in-person revenue collection, administrative work, customer service, and other similar transactions would be suspended. However, he added that one could still call for assistance 063-2087272 or use online channels such as LINE or the PWA website or mobile application.

The PWA noted that some projects are also likely to be suspended until the situation improves.
