Chonburi Governor orders temporary closure/sealed measures of multiple construction camps and factory

Chonburi, Thailand-

  The Chonburi Governor released an extensive order late this evening, around 9:00 P.M., closing a factory and sealing/closing four construction worker camps temporarily in the province due to Covid-19 concerns.

The order, number 59/2564, states the following:

-Close Excellent Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located in Map Phai Sub-district, Ban Bueng District, Chonburi Province temporarily until at least August 27th, 2021.

-The following four construction worker camps:

Roong Ruangkit Construction Engineering Company Limited, which is located on 3474 Road, Khao Khan Song Subdistrict, Sriracha District Chonburi

Roong Ruangkit Company Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., which is located opposite Ban Khao Khan Song Soi 14, Khao Khan Song Subdistrict, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province

Construction worker camp of Permsap Service Intergroup Co., Ltd., which is located in Bowin Subdistrict, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province.

Khun Suphan Construction Worker Camp, located in Nong Suea Chang Subdistrict Nong Yai District Chonburi

Are to take the following measures until at least August 6th, 2021:

-Nobody is allowed to enter or exit the camps without the approval of a Chonburi Health Department Official or relevant officer

-Employees may only travel to the construction site at Midea Refrigeration Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located in Khao Khan Song Subdistrict, Sriracha District with permission of relevant officials and may not leave the location or interact with others if they go to this site with permission.

-Residents and workers at these camps may not move between camps or interact with people from other camps or companies.

-Owners and management must comply with all disease control orders from relevant health officials.

The order is effective as of today, July 18th, 2021.
