Chonburi governor orders temporary closure of sports shop in Pattaya mall

The Chonburi Governor ordered tonight, July 16th, 2021, a sports shop inside a popular Pattaya mall closed after cases of Covid-19 and timelines were reportedly found at the location.

The order states, “There is currently an outbreak of the Covid -19 coronavirus at the RC Sports Co., Ltd (‘Super Sport’ Pattaya Beach branch) on the 2nd floor in Central Festival Pattaya Beach in Nongprue, Banglamung.

“In order to control the spread of the virus, the Chonburi communicable disease committee has ordered the temporary closure of the RC Sports Co., Ltd (‘Super Sport’ Pattaya Beach branch).

The Chonburi Public Health Officials and staffers are working to protect and control the area, ensuring staff and the owners follow provincial health official orders.

The order is from today until July 25th. TPN notes multiple stores at the Central Festival Mall have shown up on recent Covid-19 timelines, leading to complete cleaning of the mall and one-day closure yesterday, July 15th, 2021.
