This week two Thai sailors are heading to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
The Pattaya City Mayor personally wished Thai sailors success at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in several weeks. The team reportedly includes some Pattaya area residents.
Mr. Nattapong ‘Oat’ Poenopparat and Ms. Siriphon ‘Dao’ Kaewduangngam departed from the Suvarnabhumi Airport with Japan Airlines on July 12th.
They are traveling with their coach Mr. Sakda Sakunfang and staffer Ms. Pannipa Mangmeephon.
Sailors, coaches, and staffers have already completely taken the Covid -19 vaccine. They will be quarantined for five days before taking part in the games which will be from July 23th to August 8th. They arrived safely and are currently in quarantine.
Ms. Siriphon will join in the female RSX competition while Mr. Nattapong will join the male RSX completion.
