Chonburi governor orders the temporary closure of another market in Mueang Chonburi due to Covid-19

Chonburi, Thailand-

The Chonburi provincial governor issued a new order this evening, posted on social media PR pages, informing of the closure of another market due to Covid-19 related measures.

The order closes the Buriban Market in Mueang Chonburi, also called the Lower Market on Wachiraprakarn Road.

The closure will take place from today, July 3rd, 2021 until at least July 16th, 2021.

All shopowners and market vendors are asked to fully cooperate with the order. The original order, for reference, is in Thai below. This order comes as Chonburi continues to fight with Covid-19 outbreaks in the province that have stemmed primarily from factories, markets, and migrant worker communities.
