30 kilogram python caught in garage in Pattaya overnight, alarming owner

Pattaya –

A 30-kilogram python has been caught in a local man’s garage in Pattaya early yesterday morning (June 28th).

Rescue workers were notified of the python around 1:00 AM at a second-hand car shop and residence in Nongprue.

Rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a four-meter-long python in the garage area of the home.

It took about 15 minutes to catch the python which weighed about 30 kilograms according to snake handlers who were called to handle the situation.

Mr. Suchart Suwachart, the house and shop owner, 63, told The Pattaya News, “I heard my pet dog barking furiously in the garage where he sleeps while I was relaxing inside. I came out and discovered the python. That is out of my league to handle so I immediately called rescue workers for help.”

The snake handlers told reporters the snake will not be harmed and will be released to an uninhabited forest in the Chonburi area.
