Pattaya law enforcement warns motorbike drivers about parking next to Pattaya Beach

Pattaya, Thailand,

Pattaya City Law Enforcement, called the Tessagit in Thai, warned residents this morning on their social media accounts about parking on the beach side of Pattaya Beach.

They stated that motorbikes and motorbike side cars, which presumably includes food vendors, are forbidden from parking next to the beach on Pattaya Beach.

The parking area is only for cars and full vehicles.

A reason was not given and based on comments left on social media many local residents were not happy with the announcement.

This notice was only for Pattaya Beach and doesn’t apply to other area beaches. Pattaya Beach has long had stricter rules than some other local beaches leading some to complain this is one reason why the beach is less busy than Jomtien or Bangsaen.
