Man returns lost parakeet to owner in Pattaya area, treated to a Thai BBQ dinner as a reward

Banglamung –

A man has returned a lost ring-necked parakeet in Banglamung to its owner who provided a special Mookata Thai-style BBQ dinner as a thank you.

Mr. Wanlop Ratkajorn, 42, a construction contractor yesterday (June 18th) returned a ring-necked parakeet which has got lost to Mr. Puwadet Lertsiri, 39, a bank staffer in the Pattaya area.

Mr. Wanlop told Pattaya News Reporters, “Yesterday morning before I went to work I found the yellow parakeet at my house in Soi Khao Talo. It was weak so I caught it and put it in a cage. I gave some bananas and water to the parakeet. I posted on social media to find its owner as I knew this was not a typical bird for the Pattaya area.”

Mr. Puwadet saw the messages on social media groups and responded, bringing pictures of the parakeet to prove that he is the real owner. The bird is named ‘Kao Pod’ (corn).

Puwadet told reporters, “I started to raise the bird two years ago. On June 17th it had disappeared from its cage. I saw the post on social media from Mr. Wanlop and responded.”

Mr. Puwadet said thank you to Mr. Wanlop and gave him a special Thai-style BBQ dinner, called Mookata in Thailand, as a reward which the men enjoyed following the rescue.

This was the second lost animal found in the area after going missing in the past 24 hours, here is a related story:
