Banglamung, Chonburi –

A fire nearly completely destroyed a wooden house in Banglamung early this afternoon (June 10th).

Firefighters were notified of the fire at 1:00 P.M. at a wooden home in Nongprue, part of the greater Pattaya area. You can see a video of the blaze below:

Firefighters with multiple fire engines and The Pattaya News reporters arrived at the two-story wooden house where the fire was raging, alarming nearby residents.

It took about one hour for firefighters to put out the fire, which caused severe damage to the home. There were no injuries reported during the blaze.

At this stage, Nongprue police stated through a spokesperson that they believe that the fire started from an electric short circuit. Nongprue police are assessing the overall damage and did not give an early estimate on the total cost of damages.

However, the Chonburi Forensic Police are conducting a further investigation to find the exact cause of the fire. There was nobody present in the home during the blaze and no injuries were reported.
