The following is our exclusive weekly feature in which we ask our readers a news topical question and then give you a week to answer it on our various channels, compiling a diverse range of answers and opinions to present.

Last week, we asked you the following:

Reader Talkback: What is your favorite restaurant for a nice dinner in Pattaya?

We added this context:

We have previously covered the best breakfast place in a previous reader talkback, today we are going to focus on a nice place for dinner. It doesn’t need to be expensive, or fine-dining, just your favorite restaurant for a nice dinner when you choose to go out?

We understand best and favorite are very personal opinions so focus more on what YOU personally enjoy and not price range or type of food.

Here is what you, our readers, had to say as our editors selected some of the most diverse responses to highlight different points of view.  We had a HUGE turnout for this question with dozens of comments, messages, and e-mails. This was a very passionate topic with a huge diversity of comments. We specifically tried to highlight a variety of answers to give as many restaurants in the area as possible that were named some coverage. We had so many responses it will be impossible to list them all! Do you still want to chime in? Here is how:

Peter M-Sandbar by the sea on Dongtan beach, good extensive western and Thai menu and drinks at mid-range prices

Steve K-Dao-Ruang restaurant, 2nd Road Pattaya. This is my daily go-to restaurant as they give me Thai spicy rather than watered-down Western alternatives. Very friendly staff, cold beer, and excellent food. I don’t eat meat, but I can strongly recommend their seafood, whole fish, and vegetarian menu options.

Gert H-I like Frankie’s Inn at second Jomtien. Real Italian. Italian chef master. Always good

Martin M-Suggestions, on the dark side. Excellent French/ Belgian cooking. For beach atmosphere, more than food, Glass House, Najomtien. (Multiple mentions for suggestions from readers)

MANY/Multiple-The Bistro Soi Yamato 13.1. Fresh food, value for money.  (Editor’s Note-We had many, many write in’s for this. This wasn’t a popularity contest or vote, just asking for personal opinions, but worth noting they are well-liked and got the most answers!)

Pelle-Beefeater (Multiple votes for this also-Editor)

Patrick H-Harrys at soi Diana! Always good food and nice staff.

Theo H-The Chinese restaurant Leng Kee at the Central road for many years, the favorite from me and my family. The special for us, are roasted Duck and the small Shells in Basil sauce.

Felix C-My favorite for 20 years is Casa Pascal Restaurant at the second road for breakfast and brunch buffet and a wonderful dinner. Try it out (Multiple write-ins for Casa Pascal also)

Martin H-After 21 years here, I have been to most fancy and normal places. Peaky Blinders on Pratumnak is easily top 3 ever and favorite now. Comfort food, fun dining instead of fine dining, and very reasonable prices. The ingredients are A+, the chef is an artist. Definitely worth a try!

Frank- Hello,  As part of your investigation of our favorite restaurants, I will say, without any hesitation, the French restaurant ” Au Bon Coin “, run for many years by José.
Pleasant decor, and consistent quality of food. The prices remain reasonable.
Haprit G-Hello everyone
I feel a good Indian meal at Alibaba, is very satisfying once in a while
Francesco T-Gian’s Thappraya Rd. Great quality and excellent wines.
Dani L-Frasers sports bar and grill
Pesche-
Once in a lifetime birthday dinner
On April 11th I had the honor to be invited to the boss’s birthday party. Of the nine-course menu that we were presented with every single dish was a unique creation with only the finest ingredients. I often visit this place. The price value of the food and wines are unsurpassed in Pattaya. The chef is a cooking artist and the perfect service together with the atmosphere are turning my visits every time into a new experience. For this and more reasons Bistro has become my first choice for fine dining in Pattaya.
Chris T-Tin cup on Soi Buakhao.
Manu H-Café des amis – Casa Pascal – Da Marco (We had several write ins for Cafe Des Amis also!)
Neil V-Sky gallery for lunch!
Pal G-Ristorante Da Marco. It’s on the dark side. Great place.
Kevin D-
Nicky’s Bar and Guesthouse on Soi Buakhao. Good food at good prices.
I’ll add to that they support an orphanage and Pattaya Hash House Harriers.
Best wishes Debby and David.
Bill Y-I’m surprised that others know Cabbages and Condoms too. Yes, it’s definitely top 3, set in a great jungle setting over the ocean – making you forget you’re in Pattaya. Sky Gallery is more open, maybe more elegant but an absolute ‘must’ too. A bit pricey. But the view is worth it. The beach below is so nice. Farther down south of Jomtien Beach is maybe the nicest view restaurant in the province. Rimpa Lapin. Incredible. But maybe too far to make the effort when Cabbages and Sky Gallery are so close to town (Multiple people wrote in Cabbages and Condoms and Sky Gallery-editor)
Matthias P-Surf kitchen, Jomtien Beach Road
Brian S-“Hungry Hippo” in Soi Buakhao. Nice staff, good meals, and inexpensive.
Mark L-Kiss restaurant after a good night out
Pixel A-
Sky Gallery
Glass House
Pippa
I Sea Sky
Forrest by the Sea
Virgin Rooftop.
Robin B-That seafood place with the crab symbol at the end of Jomtien beach road
Monika P-Suggestions and Alter Ego
Sutrebmal-Cafe le Mar Jomtien beachroad
Bob W-McDoners Lamb Kebab on Soi LK Metro.
Mike S-
Taco House & Route 66 on the DarkSide
Sandbar By The Sea in Jomtien
Caddyshack in Pattaya
All the above venues have excellent service staff and reasonable prices
Brian T-Without a doubt and always NUMBER ONE Remarkable location, Wonderful and Attentive 1st Class Service. Spectacular Wine Selection. Italian and Thai dishes best of the best. Many of the organic meals direct from Khun Luca Marchetti Farm outside Pattaya. https://www.facebook.com/toscanapattayabeach/  (Multiple answers here also)
