Detail on the nineteen deaths of Covid –19 in Thailand today

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) in Bangkok today (May 8th) reported a total of 19 deaths in Thailand.

Thailand has announced 2,409 new domestic confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom this morning (May 8th) with 10 imported cases for a total of 2,419 cases of the virus with 19 new deaths reported, in the past 24 hours.

Details about the 21 deaths in Thailand today are:

  • Eight males and 11 females aged between (42-93)
  • Seven fatalities were in Bangkok (7)
  • Two fatalities were in Samut Prakan and two in Pathum Thani (4)
  • One fatality was in Nakhon Sawan, Samut Sakorn, Kanchanaburi, Chonburi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Nakhon Pathom, and Surin (8)

Most patients have a personal health problem such as high blood pressure (15), diabetes (7), heart disease (2), high cholesterol (8), obesity (1), chronic lung disease (1), allergies (1), chronic kidney disease (2), and cancer (2).

Three of them did not have any personal health issues and some are unknown.

The Chonburi Department of Public Health announced 72 new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 this morning (May 8th), a slight drop from yesterday with one new death.
