Two people have sustained severe injuries after the driver of their SUV lost control before crashing into a tree in Chonburi yesterday (May 5th).
Police were notified of the accident at 5:04 P.M. on Road 344 (Chonburi- Klang) in the Nongyai district.
Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the badly damaged white SUV on the side of the road.
The driver, Mr. Kitti, 28, and his wife, the passenger, whose name was not given to the press by law enforcement, had sustained serious injuries inside the SUV. They were rushed to a local hospital for urgent medical assistance in a serious condition.
A witness, Mr. Thongchai Nillapan, 36, a nearby truck driver told the associated Thai press, “The SUV had lost control at high-speed on the road before crashing into a tree. The SUV’s front wheel appeared to come off before the collision, likely leading to the accident.”
