Food and supplies donated to Chonburi Child Abuse Care Center during Covid-19 crisis

Banglamung, Chonburi –

Politicians and local businessmen in Banglamung donated food and supplies to the Chonburi Child Abuse Care Center yesterday (April 29th).

The donation took place at the Chonburi Child Abuse Care Center and was led by Mr. Paoroj Prawatlertudom from Yong Hua Steel along with Mr. Wichit Chancjaiyutsak, a Chonburi politician.

Food and supplies such as face masks, alcohol gel, food, snacks, and supplies were given to Ms. Warapa Sayangkun the director of the Chonburi Child Abuse Care Center.

The center is looking after multiple children aged from six to 18 years old. The children at the center have been rescued from either abusive homes or trafficking-related situations. According to the center, many people forget that during the current Covid-19 situation many charity organizations struggle due to both Covid-19 precautions as well as fewer people visiting from other provinces or areas and donating to the children.

Additionally, with foreign tourists having been essentially banned from visiting without quarantine for over a year, this also hurts many local charities adds The Pattaya News.
