Phuket medical staffers at vaccination injection areas danced to motivated people and other medical staffers who are fighting the Covid – 19 pandemic this week, drawing widespread praise on Phuket social media.
Yesterday (April 28th) video clips and photos went viral on Phuket social media.
They were dancing to the song ‘Jab Mue Kan Wai’ (holding hands together in English) of one of Thailand’s famous singers ‘Bird Thong Chai’.
They were dancing at the vaccination area in the Phuket International Airport and in Patong hospital areas.
Their dancing is aiming to encourage and support each other as well as other people while they were fighting during the Covid – 19 pandemic. Most comments on Thai social media were positive, although a few people questioned why medical staff had the time to do coordinated dances if things were so serious.
Phuket now has a total of 374 cases confirmed cases of Covid – 19 with 235 still in medical care.
