Two people seriously injured after SUV driver crashes into and knocks down Pattaya power pole

Banglamung –

Two people have sustained serious injuries after they crashed their SUV into a power pole in Nongprue this week.

The Nongprue police was notified of the accident earlier this week on the Rong Poa – Khao Maikaew Road in the Nong Plalai sub-district.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged SUV on the side of the road.

An injured male and female were found inside the SUV. They both sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital. The two injured people were not immediately identified by authorities.

Nearby, authorities found a broken power pole 50 meters from the damaged SUV.

No witnesses were found at the scene. Police are continuing their investigation and called the local power authority to restore power to affected local residents and repair the pole.
