Thailand-
The Chonburi Sharks Football Team moved to the final of the Chang FA (Football Association) Cup, a major Thailand football tournament, last night after beating Buriram United 2-1 last night in what many analysts called an upset victory.
This will be the first time the Sharks have been in the final since 2014 (there was a shared title in 2016 with four teams due to a variety of factors) and was a major win for Chonburi football fans.
The win featured two goals by Worachit Kanitsribampen at 25 minutes and Junior Eldstal at 59 minutes from the Chonburi Sharks that got major crowd reactions who were supporting the underdogs.
The Chonburi Sharks will face the Chiang Rai United Football Club after they beat Bangkok United 2-1 last night as well in the FA cup final.
The final will be on Sunday, April 11th, at 6:00 P.M. and is highly anticipated by many local Chonburi football fans who are hoping to see Chonburi win their first solo FA cup title since 2010. Chiang Rai United, however, is a tough team and the game will feature the Sharks once again entering as the underdog with a tough spirit.
