Banglamung and Krung Thai Bank officials visit the bedridden, elderly, and disabled in Pattaya area, offer financial and other assistance

Banglamung –

Banglamung local officials have given help to the elderly and bedridden patients in Khao Mai Kaew on Tuesday (March 30th) to assist those most in need in the Pattaya area.

A team of authorities led by Khao Maikaew Administrative Chief officers Mr. Jamnien Geeteepakun and staffers from Krung Thai Bank visited bedridden patients, the elderly, and disabled in Khao Mai Kaew as part of an overall project to assist those most in need and who do not have smart phones for the ‘Rao Chana’ (We win in the Thai language) government project.

Authorities have provided them with food, necessary items for their living needs, and essential funding.

The We Win project essentially is a government financial support program providing aid for those as a result of recent Covid-19 situations in the country. The program is generally accessed through internet and phone applications, however, the support measures given over the weekend were aimed at those who did not have access to those devices.

The individuals visited were also signed up manually for financial aid related programs by Krung Thai Bank officials. This is part of an ongoing support program for those most in need in Pattaya who are due to disabilities unable to visit banks in person to apply for financial aid.
