Fire damages Si Racha beauty salon

Si Racha –

A devastating fire caused severe damage to a beauty salon in Si Racha, starting just five minutes after the owner left the salon earlier this week (March 25th).

The Laem Chabang Police was notified of the fire at a beauty salon in the Thung Sukhala sub-district in the late afternoon on March 25th.

Firefighters rushed to the scene with fire engines to find black smoke coming out from the salon. The salon was locked and firefighters had to force entry.

The fire was found ablaze at the back of the salon. It took about 15 minutes to put out the flames. Some property and furniture was damaged by the blaze.

The salon owner, Mrs. Petch Boonma, 53, was called back to the salon by neighbors.

She told the Pattaya News, “I had only left the salon five minutes before my neighbor called me about the fire.”

“The fire started from an area where my husband kept some equipment for motorbikes and bicycles. Some batteries might have exploded from the hot weather before the fire started. ” She speculated.

However, the forensic police are conducting a separate investigation to find the exact cause of the fire.
