Burmese couple arrested and charged with allegedly having 1,000 methamphetamine pills and illegal firearm in Sattahip

A Burmese couple was arrested and charged with allegedly having 1,000 methamphetamine pills and an illegal handmade rifle this afternoon in Sattahip.

The Sattahip Police today, (March 27th), have arrested a Burmese couple who were only named by their first names Mrs. Wan, 47, and Mr. Lern.

Police reported to Pattaya News that they seized 1,000 methamphetamine pills and a handmade rifle from the suspects.

They were arrested at a rental room in the Samaesan sub-district.

They were taken to the Sattahip Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of a Category Drug 1 with the intent to sell, illegal possession of firearms, and being unable to provide personal identification documents to arresting officers. They have reportedly admitted being guilty to all the charges according to the Sattahip Police.
