Si Racha-
Two Cambodian men have been injured after a large stainless steel oven inside a factory exploded in Si Racha on Tuesday evening this week.
The Nong Kham Police was notified of the incident on Tuesday night (March 16th) at a factory in the Nongkham sub-district.
Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find two injured men who were named Mr. Ben Bin, 26, and Sinat Joom, 30, both Cambodian nationals. They had sustained burn and shrapnel-related injuries from the explosion. They were rushed to a local hospital for immediate medical assistance after brief treatment at the scene.

Mr. Joom told Si Racha police there was fire sparking from the stainless oven just before the sudden explosion.
Mr. Joom added that there are about 50 families who live around the factory, the majority being migrant workers who all work and live on the premises.
The Chonburi Forensic Police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the explosion while the factory is being checked for safety standards and proper licensing, a police correspondent told the Pattaya News. An immediate answer on the cause of the explosion was not available although the area of the factory impacted had temporarily suspended production.
