Intoxicated woman injured after falling onto a knife “by accident” in Pattaya area, police investigating

An intoxicated woman has sustained severe injuries to her chin after she had reportedly slipped, fell and landed on her chin with a knife in Banglamung last night (March 17th).

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at 9:30 P.M. in the Soi Na Wang, Takiean Tia sub-district last night.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an intoxicated and injured woman Ms. Nongnuch Tathong, 50. A severe cut wound was found on her chin and she was bleeding heavily. She was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Witnesses told The Pattaya News the injured woman was heavily drunk before she slipped onto her knife and accidentally slashed her chin, leading to the wound.

However, Banglamung police are investigating the situation and stated they will be interviewing all parties involved today as they had some questions regarding to how the woman had accidentally fallen into the knife.
