Si Racha –
An unidentified driver has sustained serious injuries after their luxury car crashed into a power pole in the Si Racha district yesterday.
Emergency responders were notified of the accident in the late afternoon yesterday during a surprise afternoon storm on Road Number 331 in the Borwin sub-district.
They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged sports car on the side of the road.
The driver, who had sustained serious injuries and had no identification, was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.
Witnesses told rescue workers that it was raining when the driver, who was speeding, lost control before crashing into the power pole.
The accident is still under investigation by Si Racha police.
