Sattahip Police arrest drug dealer with 3,528 methamphetamine pills, multiple guns, and bullets

The Sattahip Police reported that they have arrested a drug dealer with 3,528 methamphetamine pills, crystal methamphetamine, two guns, and 36 bullets over the past weekend.

A team from the Sattahip Police arrested Mr. Suebphong ‘Phong’ Kakakick, 47, over the weekend. Seized from him were 3,528 methamphetamine pills, 304.03 grams of crystal methamphetamine, two guns, and 36 bullets.

The Sattahip Police Chief Colonel Panya Damlek told associated Thai press, “The suspect bought the drugs via the LINE application from another more prominent drug dealer before selling them in the Sattahip area. We were given a tip from a concerned citizen about the operation.”

“We conducted a sting operation before arresting the suspect at a house in Rayong.” Col. Panya continued

“The suspect admitted that those illegal drugs and items belonged to him. He is facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.” The Colonel concluded.

The suspect reportedly remains in custody as of press time and it is not known if he has secured a lawyer.
