The Ramayana Water Park in Pattaya will hold a Songkran festival event in April, the first major event announcement in the Pattaya area as the Covid-19 situation continues to improve in Thailand as a whole.
The event is called ‘Songkran – Wanlai” or ‘Thailand Wonder Wave’.
The event will have non-stop concerts from 70 singers and dancers with full options of lights and sounds.
There will be a ‘Mega Wave’ with ‘Water Projections’ in the middle of the concerts. The event will also feature special lighting shows and activities.
The ‘Songkran – Wanlai’ festival will be held at the Ramayana Water Park in Pattaya from April 15th to April 19th.

The Pattaya News notes that Pattaya City officials have not yet decided if the city will host an official Pattaya Songkran event and are reportedly discussing the possibility and monitoring the situation with Covid-19. At this point, however, if the situation continues to improve it is likely that an event is held in some form. Last year the festival was canceled due to Covid-19.
Songkran is the Thai new year and the biggest holiday in the country.
