Three alleged drug dealers have been arrested in Jomtien early this morning (February 25th), according to Chonburi Provincial Police. Police reportedly seized 610 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 93 methamphetamine pills from the suspects.
A team of the Chonburi Provincial Police led by Colonel Santi Kornsasem arrested three male Thai suspects who were named to The Pattaya News as Dusit ‘Ae’ Thongpracha, 33, Siriphong ‘Ae’ Saksri, 37, and Payu ‘Maew’ Tapkornburi, 38. They were arrested at Soi Jomtien 2 and Soi Jomtien 3 early this morning.
Police seized in total 610 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 93 methamphetamine pills, according to a statement from Colonel Santi Kornsasem.
The arrest follows police receiving an anonymous tip-off over the phone from a “concerned citizen” that suspects were selling drugs illegally in the area.
They are facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell. The three suspects did not make a statement to the press and it is unknown if they have hired a lawyer at this time.
