An alleged drug dealer has been arrested with fake banknotes in Mueang Chonburi this week, according to Chonburi police.
The Mueang Chonburi reports that a team of police led by Police Chief Colonel Nitat Waenpradap arrested a male suspect, 42, (The name of the suspect had not been revealed by Chonburi police) earlier this week.
The arrest came after police received a tip-off that the suspect was selling drugs to teenagers in the area.
He was found with crystal methamphetamine (the exact amount of drugs had not been revealed). Police also seized the fake banknotes from him.
He is facing charges of illegal use of Category 1 drugs and using fake banknotes. Police stated that they are investigating with the suspect where the banknotes came from and how they were created.
