ํYoung driver dies after Chinese New Year celebration after his motorbike crashes into truck in Chonburi

Chonburi –

A young driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike crashed into a trailer truck after a Chinese New Year celebration early this morning (February 13th) in Mueang Chonburi.

The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the accident at 2:00 A.M. on Bypass Road in the Baan Suan sub-district.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Anuwat, 23, from Kalasin.

Nearby, police found his 500 cc motorbike and a trailer truck.

Mr. Anuwat’s friend, who wasn’t named, told the local press, “Mr. Anuwat was coming back from Bang Sane beach after a private Chinese New Year celebration. He was heading to my house which is near the scene.”

The truck driver, Mr. Sampan, 53, claimed he had no idea how the Anuwat’s motorbike crashed into his truck.

No other witnesses were found at the scene. However, police are continuing their investigation at this time and reviewing CCTV.
