The Rotary Club of Pattaya, serving Pattaya since 1972, had its first meeting since December after Covid-19 related measures canceled all gatherings and meetings in the Pattaya area for a month.
The club, which meets the first and third Monday of every month at the Royal Cliff Hotel in Pattaya, has recently expanded its membership to better serve the local community and residents of Pattaya. You can read more about that previous story here.
This is only the second meeting the revitalized club has had since the induction of over thirty new members due to Covid-19 as they prepare to serve the community.
The meeting also featured the induction of a brand new member to the Rotary Club of Pattaya, Himanshu Kaushik, known as Sam, who was warmly welcomed by his now fellow Rotarians.
Many members wore their new Rotary jackets provided by Rotarian Komal, which he and his team at PF uniforms at been working diligently on for the past several weeks.
The meeting featured a guest speaker, Alex Porsing, who is a winner of Denmark’s Got Talent for motocross stunts and tricks, and spoke to the Club about how this translates to motivation, desire, and ability to succeed even when one has setbacks. He will also be performing a private show (with social distancing and Covid-19 measurements) for Rotarians, their friends, and family this weekend.
