Chonburi-

An alleged drug dealer has been arrested in Mueang Chonburi with six kilograms of marijuana, according to local law enforcement officials who spoke with The Pattaya News.

The Mueang Chonburi Police reports that a police team, led by Police Chief Colonel Nitat Waenpradam, had arrested a 43-year-old Thai male suspect, although his name was not given by police.

The arrest followed an investigation after a tip-off that the suspect was selling drugs in the local area. A raid followed on the suspect where the drugs were reportedly found in his possession.

The suspect is facing charges of illegal possession of Category 5 Drugs (marijuana) with intent to sell.

The suspect has not released a statement to the press and it is unknown if he has a lawyer at this time.
