Thai Meteorological Department says next few days will be cool and windy, driving away much of the recent air pollution

Thailand-

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) stated this morning, January 18th, 2021, that the weather is expected to be cool and windy for the next several days.

The temperature is expected to drop between 3 to 5 degrees Celsius across Eastern and Central Thailand which along with steady winds should also start to dissipate and blow away air pollution that has accumulated over the past week, according to the TMD.

Small boats are warned to stay ashore as waves up to two meters high could be seen off the shore of Eastern Thailand according to the TMD due to the steady wind.

The cooler weather and wind should last for the next three days as a strong high pressure area extends from China over Thailand.
