Chonburi announces 14 new cases of Covid – 19, new confirmed cases falling

The Chonburi Public Health Department this morning at 9:00 A.M. (January 13th) announced 14 new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in Chonburi, the majority in Si Racha and some are in Banglamung and Mueang Chonburi.

Chonburi now has a total of 620 cases of Covid-19 and one previous death from this recent round of Covid-19 cases. The death was a 47-year-old woman with previous health issues.

Today’s cases saw nine in Si Racha, four in Banglamung and one in Mueang Chonburi.

Banglamung’s cases were from two people who visited a brewery in Si Racha that is the source of a recent large cluster, a medical staff member and a person who is connected to a gambling event that was a previous large cluster.

The Si Racha cases are a mix of people associated with a gambling event and the brewery cluster. This is the lowest number of new confirmed cases in several weeks as the numbers continue to decrease.
