As Chonburi and Banglamung deal with the second round of Covid-19 infections, with many patients being treated at Banglamung Hospital, a group of local residents came together yesterday to treat the hospital staff to a free lunch to thank them for their hard work fighting against the Covid-19 virus.
Khun Noppadol Thaphonusit from the Pattaya City branch of Thai Life Insurance PLC. and his employees along with Khun Wannida Boonyarit, Khun Chananchida Laklaem, Khun Tuk (Lottery Shop), and Khun Wasana Chanchiao decided to come together to show their support for the work that nurses, doctors and medical staff at Banglamung Hospital were doing.
At 11:30 A.M. yesterday the group of citizens arrived at Banglamung Hospital with 300 packed lunches for staff that were complimentary. They made a variety of dishes from fried chicken with rice, ham fried rice, pad kra pow, and fried chicken with garlic.
According to Khun Noppadol this is actually the third time the group has come together to show their support for medical staff, having done so twice during the first round of Covid-19 infections last year.
Noppadol told The Pattaya News that the group merely wants to give back to those who work hard to stop the spread of Covid-19 and help people recover in Pattaya.
