Banglamung police hunt for thief who broke into grocery store

Banglamung-

Police are hunting for a thief who broke into a grocery store in Banglamung earlier this week and was caught on video.

The owner of Poonsap Grocery, Mr. Kietisak Toopimai, 32, told The Pattaya News that the thief broke into the grocery in Soi Marb Song Kai Muay in Nongprue on December 27th. No one was at the grocery at that time, according to Kietisak.

The suspect cut off the main electric power in front of the grocery according to Banglamung Police before breaking into the grocery.

He headed to the office inside the building, seemingly looking for money but an alarm went off upon entering the office, spooking the thief. He fled the premises with several smaller items which were not specifically stated by authorities.

Banglamung police are still searching for the suspect and ask if anyone has identified him from the video footage to please inform local authorities.
