Chonburi announces 51 new local transmission cases of Covid -19 with one death

The Chonburi Public Health Office today (January 1st) has announced 51 new confirmed cases of local transmissions of Covid –19.

There are 37 cases in Banglamung, 11 in Si Racha, 2 in Ban Bueang and 1 in the Panat Nikhom district.

The total number of Chonburi confirmed cases in this new series of infections is now 211.

There are in total 163 in Banglamung (with one death, a Thai woman, 47 died), 17 in Mueang, 20 in Si Racha, 7 in Sattahip, 3 in Ban Bueang and 1 in the Panat Nikhom district.

Specific details on the circumstances surrounding the death of a 47-year-old Thai woman in Banglamung or if she had previous health conditions were not given and are expected to be revealed at a press conference tomorrow from the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration.

Yesterday,(December 31st) the Chonburi Governor announced 16 new confirmed cases of local transmissions of Covid –19.
