Slovakian driver dies after his motorbike collides with a cement truck in Banglamung

A male Slovakian driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike collided with a cement truck in Banglamung yesterday.

Lieutenant Colonel Jeerasak Eabfang of the Banglamung Police was notified of the accident at 5:00 PM yesterday (December 30th) on Pong Road in the Pong sub-district.

Emergency responders, police and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Robert Kusnir, 50, Slovakian national on the road.

Nearby, emergency responders found his damaged motorbike and a cement truck. The truck driver, Mr. Supot Wichadee, 48, was waiting for police at the scene.

Supot told police that Mr. Kusnir was allegedly driving at high speed before crashing head on with his truck at a curve in the road.

However, police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident for potential legal action. The Slovakian embassy and relatives of the victim were informed of the accident according to Banglamung authorities.
