Banglamung warns people who visited Hao Dong Market in Huay Yai in relation to two confirmed Chonburi Covid-19 cases

The Chonburi Governor has issued an announcement to warn people who went to the Hao Dong Market in Huay Yai this month and revealed two confirmed case’s timeline.

The announcement was issued by the Chonburi Governor  Mr. Pakarathorn Thienchai this afternoon (December 25th).

The announcement concluded that anyone who went to the Hao Dong Market in Huay Yai, Banglamung during December 8th to December 22nd must keep an eye on themselves out of precaution. The Governor stressed, however, that the market has since been fully sanitized and cleaned and that all close contacts of the two confirmed cases that worked with the market have already been tested negative and quarantined. The Governor also stressed for people not to panic, that the situation was under control and all businesses and venues were open as normal in Chonburi with Covid-19 precautions.

If anyone has problems with respiratory symptoms and/or a fever within 14 days from when they had visited the market they must go to a hospital.

Please inform the hospital that you visited the same place as a Covid-19 confirmed case.

Chonburi has announced two new confirmed cases of local transmission of Covid–19 this morning (December 25th). The men had visited the seafood market in Samut Sakhon that is the epicenter of the current cluster of infections of Covid-19 in Thailand to purchase ingredients for their business in the Hao Dong Market.
