A potential thief failed to steal anything after trying to break the glass window of an SUV before a witness shouted for help in Nongprue early this morning (December 17th).
Captain Kietikorn Pibanjommee of the Nongprue Police was notified of the incident at 2:00 AM in front of a clinic in Nongprue.
Kietikorn and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the SUV whose glass was partially broken.
A witness, Mr. Nantakorn Patnamrob, 35, who is a nearby clinic owner, was waiting for police at the scene.
He told police that he heard something breaking before he realized that a potential thief who had been driving a pickup truck was stopped near the SUV.
The wannabe thief was trying to break the SUV’s glass window but struggling when Nantakorn shouted for help. The potential thief jumped into his pickup truck and sped away without stealing anything.
Banglamung police are checking CCTV footage nearby to attempt to find the suspect. Police have already contacted the SUV’s owner.
