Fire damages Si Racha kitchen after forgetful housewife leaves food on cooking pan

Si Racha-

A fire has damaged a local home’s kitchen after a forgetful house wife left food on a cooking pan before going out in Si Racha this morning (December 15th).

Fire fighters were notified of the fire at 7:30 AM at a house in a housing estate in the Surasak sub-district.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the house to find lots of smoke already billowing from the home.

Firefighters and responders managed to quickly get the situation under control, although parts of the kitchen had already been damaged substantially by the flames. It took about twenty minutes for rescue staff to ensure the area was completely safe.

Mrs. Wiparat Rattanawongrak, 52, told The Pattaya News that she forgot to turn off the cooking gas before she left the house to go run an errand. She stated that she was very thankful to first responders and firefighters for arriving so quickly and stopping the fire from spreading to the rest of her home.
