Young driver injured after her motorbike collides with car in Banglamung

A young female driver has sustained multiple injuries after her motorbike collided with a car in Nongprue early yesterday morning (December 12th).

The Nongprue Police was notified of the accident at 4:00 AM on a road near the railway in Soi Chaiyapruek 2.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged car and motorbike on the road.

The female car driver, aged 30 years old, was waiting for police at the scene. Her name was withheld pending a full investigation by Banglamung police.

The motorbike driver, Ms. Juthamart Sompak, 26, who had sustained several non life threatening injuries and was cognizant was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Juthamart told The Pattaya News before being taken to a hospital that the female driver of the car was allegedly driving at high speed before crashing into her. The driver of the car did not give a statement to The Pattaya News team.

Banglamung police are checking CCTV footage in the area to find the exact cause of the accident and determine legal liability.
