Thirteen year old boy seriously injured after hitting potholes on his motorbike in Pattaya area

Banglamung-

A thirteen-year-old boy sustained multiple injuries after his motorbike ran over a rough road, hitting a series of potholes, in Banglamung over the weekend (December 11th).

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 10:30 PM on Ror Yor 2015 Baan Pusai in the Khao Maikaew sub-district.

Rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at scene to find a damaged motorbike on the road.

Nearby, they found the boy who had sustained face injuries and was bleeding heavily. He was rushed to a local hospital for immediate medical assistance. His name was withheld due to being a juvenile.

Witnesses told The Pattaya News that the road in question is not well lit and has multiple rough surfaces and potholes. They stated that this area has seen a large number of accidents in recent years and have urged for the road to be repaired in the local area. The Pattaya News also noted that, legally speaking, the boy should not have been driving a motorbike.
