Si Racha-
A motorbike driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a sedan in Si Racha yesterday.
The Nongkham Police in Si Racha was notified of the accident yesterday (December 9th) at the Motorway bridge in the Bueang sub-district.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a damaged motorbike whose front wheel was detached, having been blown off during the accident, and a damaged sedan on the road.
The body of the motorbike driver, Mr. Aree Muensipoom, 36, was found nearby.
The female sedan driver aged around thirty years old was not injured. Her name was not released by law enforcement present at the scene of the accident.
Witnesses told rescue workers that the female sedan driver crashed into the motorbike that was driving in the opposite lane at high speed although the exact fault of the incident was disputed.
The motorbike driver was thrown from the force of the impact before hitting the sedan roof and then the ground. The driver’s body was badly disfigured from the force of the impact.
Law enforcement officers are investigating the incident and determining if legal charges will be filed against the driver of the sedan as well as reviewing CCTV in the vicinity.
