Truck carrying gas cylinders crashes into pickup truck and Chonburi power pole

Chonburi-

Emergency responders rushed to move injured people out from a truck which was carrying gas cylinders after the truck slammed into a pickup truck and a power pole in Mueang Chonburi district over the weekend

Rescue workers were notified of the accident on Setthakit Road in Baan Suan on Sunday, December 6th, 2020.

Rescue staff rushed to the scene to find the damaged truck which was carrying about thirty gas cylinders collided with a power pole at the central reservation on Setthakit Road.

Two unidentified injured people were found in the cab. It took more than half an hour for rescue workers to free them from the vehicle with a hydraulic cutter. They were taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Nearby, rescue staff found the damaged pickup truck. Gas cylinders were later removed from the truck safely.

The pickup truck driver, Mr. Nattaphong Chaisawat, 26, claimed that the truck carrying gas cylinders crashed into the back of his pickup truck without warning.

However, Mueang Chonburi police are identifying the cause of accident for further legal action.
