Pattaya, Banglamung, Chonburi-
A young driver narrowly escaped injuries after his vehicle overturned following crashing into road barriers at a construction site Sunday on South Pattaya Road.
The Pattaya City Police was notified of the accident in the early morning on Sunday (December 6th) on South Pattaya Road in Nongprue. Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find an overturned sedan on the road.
A Thai male driver, 25 years old, who asked not to be named, had sustained only very minor injuries and declined medical attention.
He told Pattaya police that there was no warning lights at the construction area on the road and that only some barriers were set up around the area. He was not familiar with the road and his car had dark tinted glass.
He has urged local authorities to set up more warning lights to prevent road accidents, claiming the accident was not his fault. It is not clear, according to Pattaya City Law Enforcement, if any charges will take place as a result of the incident.
