Pattaya, Thailand-
(The following is a press release)
On the 1st of December a group of charities handed out nearly 20,000 condoms on Soi Buakhao in central Pattaya. The condoms were donated by Bodyguard Condoms in Thailand, who wanted to give back to Thailand on this important day and raise awareness of HIV/Aids.
The project was organized by the Pattaya United Interact and the Inez Foundation, two local charities doing many worthy projects around Pattaya. They got help with handouts by the Rotary Club Marina and the Rotary E Satellite Club 3340 and the Sister Foundation. A big thank you to the Pattaya Police and the Pattaya City hall law enforcement unit was also there to make sure things went smoothly.
During a few hours on the 1st of December, the groups descended on Soi Buakow in Pattaya and handed out nearly 20,000 condoms to Thai and foreigners and we also informed them about the importance regarding protection against HIV and Aids. Everybody was delighted to receive these free condoms by Bodyguard condoms and there were many smiling faces and laughs during this otherwise gloomy period in Pattaya.
We all have to help fight HIV and Aids all around the world. Almost 14 people a day get infected in Thailand by HIV and still half a million people are living with the disease according to UN AIDS 2020. Well done Bodyguard Condoms , Thailands biggest condom distributor, and showing social corporate responsibility.
The next project is to hand out in North Thailand where the Inez Foundation will be handing out condoms to health centers in the rural areas. Bodyguard condoms are giving away one box for every box donated and you can find more info how to donate or corporate on Inez foundation facebook. https://www.facebook.com/Inezfoundation
