Truck Driver blames brake failure after crashing into eight other vehicles on Chonburi motorway

Chonburi-

A truck driver has blamed brake failure for causing a road accident in which eight vehicles were involved on a motorway in Mueang Chonburi earlier this week.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find eight damaged vehicles on the road. No severe injuries were reported.

Witnesses told The Pattaya News the traffic was flowing slowly when they heard the sound of vehicles colliding

The truck driver, Mr. Tanakan Boocha, 28, told police that his truck suffered a sudden brake failure and he was unable to stop his truck. At this point his truck crashed into the other vehicles. Law enforcement is reviewing the situation and considering legal charges according to Mueang Chonburi police.
