Chonburi-
One person has sustained injuries while three vehicles were damaged after a truck crashed into a parked broken car on the Motorway in Mueang Chonburi.
Emergency responders were notified of the accident at night earlier this week on the Motorway in the Na Pa sub-district.
They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a large damaged truck and two damaged pickup trucks on the road.
One of the pickup truck drivers, Mr. Meena Boonkasin, 52, told The Pattaya News that he tried to avoid the broken pickup truck which was parked on the side of the road with warning lights by slowing down and moving into an opposite lane.
However, the larger truck crashed into the back of his pickup truck and then another vehicle. The truck driver had sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Their identity was not given to The Pattaya News.
Ms. Tipa Maekapark, 28, the driver of the broken parked car told Mueang Chonburi police that her wheel began to feel loose while she was driving.
She parked her car and turned on the warning lights while waiting for help from the Highway Police. Law enforcement has not yet decided what charges, if any, will take place after the incident and are reviewing CCTV in the vicinity.
