Three people have sustained various injuries in an accident involving three vehicles in Mueang Chonburi yesterday.
Rescue workers were notified of the accident yesterday morning, (November 19th) , on Set Thakit Road in the Baan Suan sub – district.
Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a damaged 10 wheeler truck, six wheeler truck and a smaller pickup truck on the road.
Three people were stuck inside the six wheeler truck, which was carrying cement powder bags, who were named as the driver, Mr. Tawatchai Mongkonrat, 36, who had broken both legs, a 13 year old boy who had sustained head injuries and Ms. Rungarun Jamsawang, 36, who had sustained only minor injuries. They were taken to a local hospital for medical assistance. The occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.
Ms. Rungarun told associated Thai press, “The ten wheeler truck was crossing the road in front of the six wheeler truck. Both drivers were unable to stop the collision. The smaller pickup truck then collided with the two larger vehicles.”
Mueang Chonburi police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action to determine liability.
