Fire destroys sport clothing shop, kills two cats in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A fire has destroyed a sport clothing shop in Mueang Chonburi early this morning (November 2nd). Two cats that lived in the store have died from the fire while two other cats were injured.

Firefighters were notified of the fire at 1:30 AM at a building on Sukhumvit Road in the Bang Plasoi sub- district.

Firefighters with six fire engines rushed to the scene to find the fire was ablaze on the first and second floor of the building. The fire spread very quickly. It took more than one hour to control the fire.

Clothes and electronic devices were completely destroyed. Two cats were found dead while two other cats had been injured.

No witnesses saw the incident and there was nobody in the shop at the time. The cost of total damages and the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
