A team from the Commando Police led by Lieutenant General Torsak Sukwimol told the Associated Press today (October 24) about the raid this week.
Six Thai nationals have been arrested for allegedly operating the gambling ring who were named as Mr. Kietisak Jaroensuk, 27, the website owner, Mr Surin Kaewsangthong, 27, Ms. Jaruwan Pumpuang, 27, Nattaphon Kumsap, 28, Ms. Chalita Pitaksakunsasem, 27 and Mr. Taweephong Suksuwanphon, 28.
Police seized 50 million baht in cash, eight luxury cars and five guns loaded with bullets. The suspects were arrested in Koh Samui, Bangkok and Chonburi. One suspect is reportedly still on the run in another country.

The ring is facing charges of illegally operating an online gambling ring and money laundering.
However, police are seeking to shut down the original URL website and to arrest the other suspect by cooperating with transnational agencies.
