Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find an injured man who was only named by police as Mr. A, 19.

He had sustained injuries from bullet wounds on his arm and ribs. He was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

The suspect, named by police as Mr. Choosak Sudsangeam, 47, was described as the apartment owner.

Witnesses reportedly told police that Mr. A was drinking alcohol with his friends in his room. They were allegedly making loud noises with loud music.

Mr. Choosak claimed to police that he had repeatedly warned Mr. A to turn down the loud music after complaints from other tenants but claims A and his friends physically attacked him in response to the request.

Choosak allegedly admitted to firing four gunshots at them before running away. Choosak claims the actions taken were in self defense.

Mr. Choosak turned himself in voluntarily today and presented himself to Mueang Chonburi police.

He is facing charges of attempted homicide, illegal possession of a firearm and firing a firearm in public.
